What an absolutely fantastic evening! Seventy lively people all joined in for a thrilling game of bingo, while our brilliant volunteers kept both the bar and kitchen buzzing with activity. It was a real treat to catch up with some familiar faces from the old committee, and our guest caller had everyone in stitches with an endless barrage of jokes. There were so many prizes up for grabs that we couldn’t fit them all on the stage, so we had to bring out not one, but two tables to hold them all! The festive spirit was in full swing, with not one but two cheerful elves dropping by to lend a hand, and even the Christmas jumper made an early, cheerful appearance. To top it all off, the free flyer game boasted a jaw-dropping £50.00 prize, what a win! The energy in the room was simply electric.

We were thrilled with the fantastic turnout, 46 eager players and 7 delighted children joined in the fun! The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as participants vied for a wonderful array of prizes. For every bingo book purchased, we offered a complimentary final flyer for our thrilling full house only game—an all-cash event exclusively for adults. (no under 18s) This week’s jackpot was an impressive £50.00, making it an incredible win for a free game!

Bingo update! We had a fantastic turnout with 51 attendees and two little ones joining in the fun. Alas, our wonderful Chairperson Natasha was dearly missed—her legendary mic skills were absent, leaving Ali and me to face our greatest fear: public speaking! With trembling hands and a nervous laugh or two, we bravely took turns on the microphone. Let’s just say, we’ll be doing everything in our power to ensure Natasha never misses a bingo night again—though to be fair, this is the first one she’s missed in years! On the bright side, the glasswasher fund total is still climbing (check the home page for the latest update). At this rate, with the brilliant support from everyone who joins our events, we’ll have that shiny new glasswasher installed just in time for Christmas!

What an unforgettable night we had at bingo! First, that mischievous elf made a cheeky attempt to join the fun what a character! Then, as if things weren’t lively enough, the gremlins got into the tech, but thanks for sticking with us through the hiccup. Thankfully, Natasha returned to the mic, saving the day phew!
The atmosphere was electric; with such a buzz we had to draft in extra tables and chairs. Ever faithful Chris R. bravely ventured into the lock-up to fetch more tables, truly going above and beyond. Once set up, we were raring to go! The 100 Club was drawn congratulations to all the 3 lucky winners! It was the biggest crowd since the committee took over in September, with a staggering 72 people joining in the excitement. What a night to remember!
